Mutolere School of Nursing and Midwifery joins the world to celebrate International Nurses Day with great enthusiasm and dedication. The celebration took place on May 12th 2025 and it started with mass, given the global tradition of observing this day on Florence Nightingale’s birthday.
This event brought together students, school staff, and hospital staff to recognize the invaluable contributions of nurses worldwide. Given the school’s affiliation with St. Francis Hospital Mutolere, the celebration included activities such as ¹:
Sports : Honoring outstanding student nurses and staff who have demonstrated exceptional commitment to the field the match began at exactly 5:00 pm and student nurses were beaten 2:3 in favour of hospital staff.

Community Engagement: Organizing health fairs, there was also a band around the community to promote health awareness and provide essential services to the local community.
